These graphic novels adaptations are getting better and better. Maybe because I'm getting used to the characters or maybe because the authors were so good that they could actually create characters that grow.
It's a nice sensation going back to characters that I used to love. There are a lot of details I don't remember about the plot but usually graphic novel adaptations are a good remedy for that. This is certainly a good example.

This book took about fifty pages to end. And I don't generally go for books that take that long to wind down (especially ones that aren't the last in the series).

Excellent Artemis Fowl graphic translation, as are the first two. Couldn't be more well done.
The book 'Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code' is a Fantasy Fiction novel by author Eoin Colfer. This book is part of the Artemis Fowl series and is the third book in its series. It is preceded by Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident and followed by Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception. Eoin Colfer is also the author of another book 'The Supernaturalist', which is also one of my favorite books. The book is 310 pages long. This book is 15 years old being published in 2003.

The story “Artemis Fowl: the eternity code” by Eoin Colfer and Andrew Donkin talk about Artemis create a super computer, he called “Cube”. It far surpasses any human technology made so far. Fowl meets Chicago businessman Jon Spiro in London to show him the Cube, in an attempt to buy a considerable amount of gold in exchange for keeping the Cube off the market. But Spiro ambushes and outwits Artemis and steals the Cube. Artemis' demonstration of the Cube inadvertently detects Fairy technology bel..more
3.5, the story was exciting enough, the art style was a bit off (the shape of people’s heads was just weird! Particularly women’s hair and hat combos were something to behold..) though I do appreciate the artist not changing as so often happens in superhero graphic novels. Artemis’s resetting to evil was unfortunate, hopefully when he figures out the “conspiracy” he’ll get nicer again.

This book was absolutely amazing,it grabbed my attention straight away. One of the many things I love about this book was how detailed it was from a base of a character to every last hair,it was an amazing experience. My personal favorite scenes where when they were underground in the fairy town. Overall I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars because at some moments it lost me a little.

Artemis Fowl starts to feel more and more 'same-y' the farther into the saga you go.
And the art is getting sloppier in these graphic novels.

I enjoyed this more than the first two adaptations of the series because let's face it - the third book is just the best out of all the Artemis Fowl books.
It definitely is my favorite.
It definitely is my favorite.
Good, but not quite as good as the others.
The graphic novel presents the story well and the graphics are well drawn.

This book is amazing. It combines the extensive use of advanced technology with an extraordinary species fairies and sort. Artemis Fowl is just a young kid, but the head of a huge criminal empire. His main business is tricking people into getting more money. His latest heist involves a small, but a smart cube, and a girl who knows every single type of martial arts. Will Artemis Fowl succeed in accomplishing this final heist before switching back to a normal life? Read this book by Eoin Colfer to..more

This adaptation felt stronger. Perhaps density that left much of the LEP story-line out, and focused on the Cube. This is one of my favorite books. I never could care for Opal's exploits.

4. This book is the third installment of the very popular Artemis Fowl series. However this one is different from the others as it is the graphic novel version rather than the traditional version. I enjoyed 'Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code' a lot mostly because I got used to the style of drawing which was used in the comic. I believe this was my number one repellent in the previous instalments. I remember reading the novel series a couple of years ago and 'Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code' reminded me of a lot of the super and action-packed events that happened in the book. I believe the novel was one of my favourites in the series and I think that also reflected my opinion of this third c..more

This is the third graphic novel in the Artemis Fowl series. Artemis is trying to become on the straight and narrow, right after he goes in for one final project. But something goes array. Now Artemis has to rely on his former rival to help. I believe the fact that this is a graphic novel makes it incredibly interesting for the reader. It allows the reader to see the words within the action of the images. The artwork in this graphic novel is fantastic. I thought that Giovanni Rigano and Paolo Lam..more

Read through the 4 book graphic novel version. There is a lot more character development then I first expected. I appreciated that the characters are fully developed by the end of the 4th graphic novel. Multiple ethical questions raised regarding definition of right and wrong, does end justify means, interspecies and interracial conflict, issues of maturation and intelligence. I recommend this graphic series and look forward to having time to read the full novels.

The illustrations tend towards lots of blues, greens, and oranges but are clear and it is easy to differentiate the various characters. There is enough backstory for a reader to understand the action without having read the first of the series. Those who have read the text version will likely find this a bit too brief for their liking. However, it may tempt some into reading the text version if they haven't.
Artemis Fowl The Graphic Novels Series
In a word disappointing. To be fair, have only recently began a foray into graphic art, nonetheless this artwork lacked appeal. The plot was not the best either, but may come from trying to stuff a novel into a condensed graphic novel format. Mulch Diggums was by far the most rounded character of the bunch, which made it almost worth reading. The early novels were great, this well.. not so much.
I always thought The Eternity Code was one of the better novels in the Artemis Fowl saga, but to be honest this graphic novel version was a little weak. It may be that my opinion is a little biased because I loved the novel so much, but this graphic novel seemed a little sloppy. The graphic novels for books one and two seemed a little more crisp with better artwork than this one. Also, this graphic novel failed to make the emotional impact that the novel version made.
Anyway, 3/5.

This was the best Artemis Fowl adaptation in graphic novel to date. They did a great job at distilling the action into just a hundred-ish pages. The art was crisp and consistent as well, and the best so far.
Hopefully these comics have hit their stride and will continue like this. Given Hyperion is at it, they certainly can invest in doing things right.

I loved this book. Yes, the artwork took some getting used to and it obviously didn't match the picture in my head I had of the characters, but I still really, really, enjoyed it. It was a fun quick read that was true to the original content. The colors were vibrant and easy to see and read. 5 out of 5 stars. I can't wait to read more.
This story was probably my favorite of the novels and to see it as a graphic novel was really something. Like I said in another review the best part of these graphic novels is that the thoughts of these characters are first person. I loved this book because Artemis learns the greatest lesson makes the most progress and then at the end the stupid fairies undo all of it.

This is a fantastic adaptation of a book that is very dear to me. The Eternity Code is by far the best of Artemis's schemes, and the graphic novel truly captures the best scenes and lines from the original text.
